Well it seems that there's just some benchmarking stuff, photo editing stuff, expensive modeling stuff (lol use blender) and game maker stuff

Who buys this kind of software anyways?

Inb4 SteamWorks Word has an achievement for "1000 spelling errors on one document"

All we need is Steamworks: Word edition, I would pay for that, like £10

I got Game Maker studio, not bad, but shit it's complicated, tried to create a side scroller, and instead I made a game that is kinda ooze(that's an action 52 game for you)

Obviously my controls were more fluid, but it still was kinda wierd.

Game Maker is not very complicated, its actually very beginner friendly compared to other things, due to its drag-and-drop features :)

Anyways, why drop like $100 ($400 for commercial) if you're a noob at programming?

Game Maker is pretty beginner as far as they go, but it does still take some time to figure it out. I'm gonna have to try Gamemaker Studio on steam now though, I was really good with Game Maker 7 back in the day.

You'll get there, try something more simplistic, like a scroller, first, then try a few of their tutorials, experiment a little and eventually you'll get the hang of it.

If you find Game Maker too complicated, you can try Stencyl. It's what i used for LOL FACE SCOOT.

It has amazing extents amd trully magnificent qualities and by far the best map editor I've ever use(yes, it beaten UDK for me)
